The Safe Office

Wake Forest University is committed to providing high-quality, trauma-informed advocacy and support services to graduate and undergraduate students who have experienced concerns related to interpersonal violence.

Interpersonal violence is an umbrella term that may include concerns related to dating or relationship violence, sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, sexual assault, and stalking.

The Safe Office is a division of the University Counseling Center (UCC) that provides 24/7 confidential crisis response and ongoing support services to undergraduate and graduate Reynolda Campus students for concerns related to interpersonal violence.

We provide confidential consultations for concerned students, parents, faculty, and staff. The Safe Office also provides accompaniment for students to Deacon Health, Title IX, University Police, other collaborating campus partners, and emergency medical care that may be needed after experiencing a sexual assault.
